Alenia (Italia) ha recibido un pedido de la USAF por ocho aviones de transporte C-27J , elevando a 21 el número de aviones pedidos en total por la USAF y el Ejército. Los aviones serán entregados en 2012 a L-3, el socio de Alenia en el programa.

Alenia has received an order from the U.S. Air Force for eight C-27J tactical transport aircraft, bringing to 21 to total number now ordered by the U.S. Air Force and Army. The aircraft will be delivered during 2012 to L-3, Alenia's partner on the program, Finmeccanica said in a statement.
