PRIMERAS IMAGENES DEL K-8 EN VENEZUELA/FAV CLUB RELEASES FIRST IMAGES OF K-8 IN VENEZUELA
Los primeros seis K-8 Karakorum Venezolanos llegaron el pasado 22 de enero, parcialmente desmontados, a la Base Aérea Libertador de Palo Negro (Aragua), asi como 2 radares YL11-1 para vigilancia del espacio aéreo venezolano.
La ceremonia de recepción estaba prevista para la primera semana de marzo, en Barquisimeto, pero quizá se adelante al 31 de enero, debido a la situación política de protestas en las calles, en una ceremonia a la que acudiría el presidente Chavez. Se espera que China complete las entregas de los 18 k-8 pedidos en diciembre.

Ceremony for the receipt of six aircraft were scheduled for the first week of March, the city of Barquisimeto.
