As part of the new potential missile shield strategic partnership between US and Russia, Moscow could propose to the Americans that their own S-300 anti-ICBM systems be deployed in Bulgaria and Romania.
Russia said that any future potential co-operation between the US and Russia in a missile defence shield is not against Russian interests but could be exploited for mutual benefit.
