La Fuerza Aérea Portuguesa (FAP), ha mostrado su disgusto por los niveles de disponibilidad de sus helicópteros EH101 Merlin SAR.
Según un piloto, es un material nuevo, que en ocasiones requiere un mantenimiento cuatro veces mayor al que necesitan los helicópteros Puma.

The Portuguese Air Force has voiced displeasure over the availability levels of its EH101 Merlin SAR helicopters.
One pilot told Rotorhub.com: ‘This is a new aircraft – we were told when they were purchased they would need four times less maintenance than the Puma, but sometimes they need four times more.’
