First F-35 Lightning II arrives at Luke AFB

Luke Air Force Base's first F-35 Lightning II arrived March 10, from the Lockheed Martin factory in Fort Worth, Texas.
The aircraft is the first of 144 that will eventually be assigned to Luke AFB. Approximately 16 U.S. F-35s are expected by the end of 2014.
The 56th Fighter Wing is planning a formal unveiling ceremony for the jet March 14.
