Royal Air Force A400M Makes Its Maiden Flight

The Royal Air Force’s first Airbus A400M has made it’s maiden flight moving Britain closer to becoming the third operator of the new European airlifter.
The aircraft, to be known as the Atlas in RAF service, departed the Seville,Spain assembly facility Aug 30 for a more than five hour flight.
Further test flights are scheduled for later this month.
