DESPEDIDA DEL NIMROD MR2/GOOD BYE TO NIMROD MR2

Fin de una era dentro de la Royal Air Force, se acaban las misiones de patrulla marítima el 31 de marzo, con la retirada del último British Aerospace Nimrod MR2. Después de proporcionar defensa antisubmarina para el Reino Unido, el MR2 ha sido adaptada para realizar misiones de vigilancia sobre tierra.

The UK Royal Air Force will mark the end of an era in its proud maritime patrol heritage on 31 March, when the last of its British Aerospace Nimrod MR2s will be retired from use. After providing anti-submarine warfare cover for the UK, the MR2 was later adapted for the overland surveillance mission.
