BAE Systems and Northrop Grumman announced they will team up to bid on the U.S. Army's Ground Combat Vehicle (GCV) program, an effort to develop the next-generation infantry fighting vehicle. BAE Systems will serve as the prime contractor in the partnership, . Northrop Grumman will be responsible for "integration of command-and-control hardware and software". Companies have until April 26 to submit proposals for the 27-month technology development phase.
