Marina Holandesa recibe oficialmente su primer NH-90/The Royal Netherlands Navy Takes Delivery Of Its First NH90 NFH


AgustaWestland Industries ha entregado el primer helicóptero NH90 NFH a la marina holandesa en una ceremonia realizada en la planta de AgustaWestland en Vergiate,Italia. La marina holandesa ha pedido 20 NH90 NFH y esta es la primera entrega de un NH90 NFH en versión naval.
Las marinas de Holanda, Francia, Italia, Noruega y Bélgica han pedido un total de 111 NH90 NFH navales. El NH90 NFH está diseñado para realizar misiones de guerra antisubmarina(ASW),antibuque(ASuW), búsqueda y rescate(SAR), patrulla marítima, reabastecimiento vertical, transporte de tropas, evacuación médica, apoyo a desembarcos anfibios, día y noche, y en todas las condiciones climatológicas, desde cubiertas de buques. Debido a su peso y dimensiones, sus capacidad para plegar fuselaje y palas, puede operar desde fragatas y buques de pequeña dimensión.
Un total de 529 helicópteros NH90 han sido realizados por catorce países:
Holanda, Francia, Alemania, Italia, Portugal , Suecia, Finlandia, Noruega, Grecia, España, Bélgica, Australia, Nueva Zelanda y Omán, con cuarenta y cuatro NH90 en servicio actualmente.

AgustaWestland Industries has delivered the first NH90 NFH helicopter to the Royal Netherlands Navy at an official ceremony held AgustaWestland’s Vergiate plant in Italy. The Royal Netherlands Navy has ordered a total of 20 NH90 NFH aircraft and is the first delivery of a naval NH90 NFH variant.
The Dutch, French, Italian, Norwegian and Belgian navies have ordered a total of 111 NH90 NFH naval helicopters. The NH90 NFH variant is primarily designed for autonomous Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW),Anti Surface Warfare (ASuW) missions, search and Rescue (SAR), maritime patrol, vertical replenishment, troop transport, medical evacuation and amphibious support roles, day and night and adverse weather conditions from the decks of ships. Due to its weight and dimensions, the deck-lock system, the deck traversing system and the automatic blade and tail folding system, it can operate from small frigates even in high sea states.
A total of 529 firm orders have been placed by 19 armed forces in 14 countries including The Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal , Sweden, Finland, Norway, Greece, Spain and Belgium in Europe, as well as Australia, New Zealand and Oman overseas and 44 NH90 helicopters are already in service today.
