Missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 was ‘shot down in military training exercise’ claims first book released about lost jet

The missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 was shot down during a joint Thai-US military training exercise and then the subject of an elaborate international cover-up – according to a book released about the lost plane.
Cawthorne, the author, introduces his book by claiming that the families of MH370’s passengers will “almost certainly” never be sure what happened to their loved ones.
But he goes on to support one theory, based on the eye-witness testimony of New Zealand oil rig worker, that the plane was shot down shortly after it stopped communicating with air traffic controllers.
At the time there was a series of war games taking place in the South China Sea involving Thailand, US and personnel from China, Japan, Indonesia and others.
The drill was to involve mock warfare on land, in water and in the air, and would include live-fire exercises.
Cawthorne suggests that “another black box” could have been dropped off the coast of Australia to divert the efforts of search teams. “After all, no wreckage has been found in the south Indian Ocean, which in itself is suspicious.”

Malaysia Airlines ha realizado un pedido en firme por 17 Airbus A330 .El contrato sigue a la firma de un memorandum de entendimiento (MOU) por 15 A330-300 de pasajeros, mas dos A330-200F de carga.Estos últimos serán operados por la subsidiaria de Malaysia Airline MASkargo. Malaysia Airlines has placed a firm order with Airbus for 17 A330 widebody aircraft. The contract firms up a previously announced Memorandum of Understanding for 15 A330-300 passenger aircraft, plus an additional order for two A330-200F Freighters for operation by the carrier's subsidiary MASkargo. Deliveries of the passenger aircraft will begin in the first half of 2011, with the first freighter joining the MASkargo fleet later the same year.
Seating 283 passengers in a high comfort two class layout, the A330-300 will become the mainstay of the carrier's medium haul passenger fleet and will be used on services to destinations across the Asia-Pacific region, as well as to the Middle East. In the freight market, MASkargo will fly the aircraft on sectors of up to 3,200 nautical miles, with the capability to carry payloads of almost 70 tonnes.
