Lithuanian Air Force receives first AS-365 Dauphin For SAR Mission

The Lithuanian Air Force received the first of three AS365 N3+ Dauphin search and rescue (SAR) helicopters on 2 June. The second and third helicopters will be delivered by Airbus Helicopters by the end of 2015.
The Lithuanian armed forces signed the order for three Dauphins with Eurocopter in October 2013.
The AS365 N3+ Dauphin will replace the Russian Mi-8 helicopter fleet currently being used by the air force that is reaching the end of its service life.

Lithuania Orders Eurocopter AS35 Dauphin Helos

Lithuania has ordered three AS365 N3+ Dauphin helicopters from Eurocopter.
The new copters will replace the Soviet-designed Mi-8 and will be mainly be used in search-and-rescue missions.
The contract also covers related equipment, and training and maintenance services.
In a bid to increase the airlift capacity of its armed forces, Lithuania is reportedly planning to acquire further helicopters by 2016.

La Armada de Venezuela negocia la adquisición de nuevos helicópteros de ataque Harbin Z-9WA

La Armada venezolana estaría negociando la compra de ocho helicópteros de ataque Harbin Z-9, para brindar apoyo táctico a las unidades de la Infantería de Marina, según informa el sitio venezolano especializado en temas militares FAV-Club.com.

En caso de concretarse, se sumaría esta adquisición a la de ocho helicópteros Z-9 en version de guerra antisubmarina, anunciada recientemente.

La Infantería de Marina de Venezuela,, tiene contemplada la activación de tres grupos de Caballería Aérea. Actualemnte, el Comando de la Aviación Naval cuenta con el Escuadrón Aeronaval de Apoyo Táctico dotado de seis helicópteros Bell 412EP y seis Mi-17V5, cuya misión principal es prestarle apoyo a las unidades de la Armada e Infantería de Marina.

El Z-9 es la versión china del helicóptero francés Eurocopter AS-365 Dauphin, construida en China, bajo licencia, por Harbin Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation y cuyo primer vuelo se realizó en 1981.

En 2005, fue introducida la versión de ataque mejorada Z-8WA la cual dispone de una unidad electroóptica en la nariz compuesta por una cámara de TV de baja intensidad e infrarroja para guía de armamento en cualquier condición climática de día o de noche.

China exporta varios helicópteros Z-9W, versión del Dauphin/China finds export market for Z-9W

China ha entregado varios helicópteros Harbin Z-9W, versión de ataque de su utilitario Z-9, a varios países no especificados, aunque se cree que son clientes de África. El Z-9W es un fruto de la licencia que el fabricante, Harbin, tiene para construir el Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin.
Harbin también ha desarrollado una versión antisubmarina, la Z-9EC, vendida a Pakistán. Este helicóptero va armado con torpedos, lleva sonar, alertador de radar y sistema de navegación doppler.

China has delivered several Harbin Z-9W helicopters, the attack variant of its Z-9 utility rotorcraft, to unespecified overseas customers. Some industry sources, however, believe that the company has some African customers.
The Z-9W is an indigenous attack version of the Z-9, which is a licence-production of the Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin.
Harbin has also developed the Z-9EC anti-submarine warfare variant that China sold to Pakistan Navy. The helicopter, which is armed with torpedoes and, low frequency dipping sonar, radar warning receivers and Doppler navigation systems.
