Egipto compra tres C295/ Egypt buys C295

Airbus Military ha vendido tres aviones de transporte C295 a la Fuerza Aérea de Egipto, para entrega a partir de 2011.
Airbus ha comunicado que Egipto ha elegido el C295 por su facilidad de mantenimiento y capacidad de operar en áreas desérticas.
Hasta la fecha 85 C295 han sido pedidos por 13 clientes, en once países.

Airbus Military says it has sold three C295 transport aircraft to the Egyptian Air Force for delivery from 2011.
It says the Egyptian Air Force selected the C295 “because of its ease of maintenance and proven operational capabilities, especially in desert areas. Furthermore, its versatility and adaptability to the most varied type of conditions and operations were another key element in the selection”.
To date 85 C295s have been ordered by 13 customers, 64 of which are being operated in eleven countries.

Egipto compra mas AH-64 Apache/Egypt to get more Apaches

Boeing ha obtenido un contrato para la venta de 10 Apache AH-64D Block II para la Fuerza Aérea Egipcia. Eguito opera actualment 35 AH-64D Apache en los escuadrones 51 y 52 , con base en Az Zaqaziq.

Boeing has been awarded a contract for ten Apache AH-64D Block II helicopters destined for the Egyptian Air Force by the US Army Contracting Command.
Egypt currently operates 35 AH-64D Apaches with 51 and 52 Squadrons of the Arab Republic of Egypt Air Force, based at Az Zaqaziq Air Base.
