The US has refused to authorise a proposed South Korean export of 12 T-50 Golden Eagle advanced trainers to Uzbekistan.
The deal, may have been dependent on US approval thanks to the integration of Lockheed Martin technology on the platform during its co-development with KAI in South Korea.
US concerns are focused on the possibility that Uzbekistan could allow information on sensitive US technology, such as is used on the aircraft's avionics and engines, to be transferred to Russia, a close ally of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan orders four C295s
A picture has appeared online of an Airbus Defence & Space C295W medium transport in an Uzbekistan air force livery, with the aircraft being one of four of the type that are believed to have been ordered by the service last year.
It is understood that the undisclosed order was placed in May 2014 during the Kadex exhibition in Kazakhstan, and the first Uzbekistan C295 completed its maiden flight on 17 June from the company’s site in Seville, Spain.
In February 2014 a delegation from Uzbekistan visited Airbus’s Getafe site in Spain to see the C295,.
The transport's emergence follows on from a separate deal announced during the Paris air show earlier this month, under which Saudi Arabia's interior ministry also order four winglet-equipped C295Ws.

Bangladesh and Belarus to get Yak-130 in 2015
Russia will supply 14 Yakovlev Yak-130 advanced jet trainer aircraft to Bangladesh in 2015, with two more to follow next year.
Bangladesh had originally planned to acquire 24 such aircraft, but this was curtailed for financial reasons.
Bangladesh has become the second export customer for the Yak-130, after Algeria procured 16 aircraft in 2011.
Belarus too would receive four Yak-130s, following a contract that was signed in late 2012. Irkut is also negotiating with Armenia and Uzbekistan about YAK-130.
