Corea del Sur adquiere el C-130J Hércules/ South Korea Selects Lockheed Martin’s C-130J Super Hercules For New Airlift Fleet

Corea del Sur ha firmado un contrato con Lockheed Martin para la compra de cuatro C-130J Super Hercules. Los aviones serán de la versión de fuselaje largo. Las entregas se realizarán en 2014. El contrato incluye dos años de soporte y entrenamiento. Corea será el decimocuarto operador de este modelo de avión.

Lockheed Martin has signed a contract with the Republic of Korea to provide the nation four C-130J Super Hercules aircraft.
Korea’s new Super Hercules will be the longer fuselage or “stretched” combat delivery variant. Deliveries will be in 2014 and the contract also contains a two-year support program including aircrew and maintenance training. Korea joins 14 other nations that have selected the proven C 130J.
