The first F-16 Block 70 aircraft for the Slovak Republic was unveiled at Lockheed Martin’s facility in Greenville, South Carolina, during a visit from the country’s Minister of Defence.
Slovak Republic is the first European nation to acquire the advanced F-16 Block 70.With this acquisition, Slovakia expects not only enhance the nation’s security but also allow the Slovak Air Force to actively contribute to regional security efforts and participate in allied missions, including those within Europe and NATO.
In total, the Slovak Republic has ordered 14 F-16 Block 70 fighter aircraft.
