Spanish shipbuilder Grup Aresa Internacional has delivered two patrol craft and a landing craft in a boost to the offshore capabilities of the Cameroon Navy.
Two 24-meter Aresa 2400 CPV Defender coastal patrol boats and a 23-meter Aresa 2300 landing craft were commissioned at the Douala naval base in late November.
Grup Aresa also is building two 32-meter patrol boats for the west African nation and expects to deliver those vessels in February. Cameroon operates 12 smaller boats built by the Spanish company.
