Turquía ha realizados un pedido por nueve helicópteros de atauqe T129 por un importe de 150 millones de euros a la italiana AgustaWestland.
EL contrato cubre repuestos y montaje por Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI). Las entregas se producirán en 2012.
Turquía ha adquirido 51 T129 para sus fuerzas terrestres, que empezarán a entregarse a principios de 2013. El nuevo pedido se realiza para cubrir necesidades operativas urgentes.

Turkey has placed an order for nine T129 attack helicopters for 150 million euros ($208.6 million) from Italy's AgustaWestland, the company announced Nov. 8.
The contract, which includes spare parts, calls for assembly of the helicopters by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) and delivery in basic configuration by mid-2012, the company said.
Turkey previously ordered 51 T129s for the Turkish Land Forces Command, which will be delivered beginning in 2013. The new order is to fill an urgent operational requirement.
