Suecia quiere adquirir helicópteros Black Hawk/ Sweden requests Black Hawks

Suecia ha solicitado 15 helicópteros Sikorsky UH-60M Black Hawk al Gobierno de Estados Unidos, para reforzar sus operaciones en Afganistán, por un valor aproximado de 546 millones de dólares (398 millones de euros).
La Fuerza Aérea Sueca necesita urgentemente reforzar sus capacidades de SAR de combate (CSAR) y evacuación médica. Las entregas están previstas para 2013.

Sweden is requesting 15 Sikorsky UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters from the US government to help support operations in Afghanistan.
The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress of the request, worth approximately $546 million (€398 million). The Swedish Air Force wants to address an urgent shortfall in Combat Search and Rescue and Medical Evacuation transport capability. Delivery of the new-build aircraft is expected by 2013.
